During the night this past shabbos, I took YM to the toilet.
The light was on there, which is tough to deal with when you’ve been asleep in a dark room and suddenly go into the light. So I said to YM – sorry, the light’s on cuz it’s shabbos, I can’t shut it.
While still rubbing his eyes, he said
“Yes, shabbos needs a lot of light to light it up”
“Who told you that?” I asked him
“My chochma” – was his answer
